Sometimes customers choose to make signage updates, and other times Mother Nature makes the decision to do it for them. This was the case for Southern Trophy House in Nashville TN. After years of sun, wind, rain, ice, and snow, the outdoor fabric banners adorning the front of the building had enough. The material deteriorated, and the wind blew a few signs over. It was time, and Southern Trophy called us.

Serving a wide range of customers, Southern Trophy House has manufactured and engraved custom products since 1960. Their list of products includes trophies, acrylic awards, crystal awards, medals, ribbons, certificates, custom gold/platinum record awards, name badges and more! With their numerous award categories and customers located around the country, we new that the pole banners were in need of some major updates to freshen up their look. 

We worked with Wilson Brim at Southern Trophy House to design the new outdoor banners for the building. We altered the original layout to include more color (in addition to the signature green) and a greater representation of what they have to offer.

To reduce the wind load and extend the lifespan of the banners, we used mesh banner material. The mesh material is made up of crisscrossed fibers that allow air to flow through.

The new, colorful designs were printed on both sides of the 30" by 144" mesh banners. Three inch pole pockets were added to the top and bottom of the material for installation on the existing hanging systems. We did make a slight change to the hardware already there, adding a way to adjust it to allow the banners to hold their tension over time.

The new banners really stand out against the neutral color of the building.

We love how the new banners update the look of Southern Trophy House's building. The addition of the red background color and the white lettering really make the banners stand out and catch the attention of those passing by or looking for the building.
