Nothing makes us happier than when customers return to us to expand their advertising. (Well, a surprise delivery of a plate of cookies makes us a little happier!) But when cookies aren't involved, repeat customers indicate that we have done our job successfully, AND our customers' businesses are growing and successful. A true WIN-WIN! Recently, this happened to us with a customer from many years ago. Structural Engineering & Inspections (SE&I) contacted us to design, fabricate and install a partial advertising wrap for their 2017 Chevy Colorado.
We met Michael Vines, the owner of SE&I, quite a few years back. He established his company in 2000 to provide structural engineering and building science services to the residential community in Middle Tennessee. Since that time, his company has expanded its services to include commercial building design and renovation. The SE&I team works with homeowners, home builders, renovation contractors, architects, and real estate professionals.
When we first met Michael, he wanted to add spot graphics to a company truck. We worked with him to layout the SE&I logo and general contact and business information onto the template of the truck. Once the proof was approved, we fabricated and installed the truck graphics for him.
Although this represents minimal on-vehicle advertising, it still does the job! Folks passing the truck naturally will check it out and read what it's advertising.
This time around, Michael asked if we could design something that would cover a little more of his 2017 Chevy Colorado extended cab. Just like before, he provided us with all of the contact and business information that we would use in the design. He also gave us architectural plans to incorporate into the background, as well as the company brand colors to use.
Our graphic designer, Torrence, took all of the information provided and created a custom partial advertising wrap. (Partial means that it does not cover all painted surfaces of the truck. In this case, the hood and roof were untouched.) After some minor adjustments, Michael approved the proof, and off it went into production. We digitally printed the design on high performance wrap vinyl with a protective UV gloss laminate. We prepped the material to be installed on the sides and tailgate of the truck. For the small lettering, we used print cut vinyl decals and applied them to the wrap in the designated areas.
The finished truck wrap! Since the truck's paint color is white, Torrence designed the wrap to blend right in to the white on the hood since it's not wrapped. The side windows show a list of all of the services offered by SE&I in white cut vinyl.
The use of the architectural plans for the background of the design really completes the look and personalizes the advertising for SE&I.
Contact information and a list of services are right in front of you when you drive or stop behind this truck. You have everything you need to contact SE&I about your home or business.
We really love how this partial wrap came together and, even more so, how it shows the growth and success of SE&I.
