Here in Nashville, CMA Fest is the biggest event of the year! When more than 90,000 people converge on the city to celebrate and enjoy country music, it’s a perfect time for companies to take advantage of large-scale advertising. For this year’s event, we worked with G7 Entertainment Marketing to design and install large building banners and window graphics to advertise Spotify’s Hot Country playlist at Blake Shelton's new Ole Red Nashville restaurant & live music venue!

Country music fans couldn't miss these huge building banners as they walked down Nashville's Lower Broadway (also known as Honky Tonk Highway) during CMA Fest.

This project began when we received a call from an event producer at G7 just over two weeks before the CMA Fest began. We were told that the restaurant would become Spotify’s CMA Fest headquarters from June 7-11, featuring artists from the Grand Ole Opry. He asked if we could create large-scale advertising (with a quick turn-around time) for the front and side exterior walls of the historic Broadway National Bank building, which is now home to Ole Red. Initially, a vinyl wrap was discussed, however, the building’s owner was concerned about applying vinyl to the brick of a historic building. After several phone meetings, our team suggested building banners and window graphics instead.

Our designer worked with G7 to create the designs for the banners. He used Spotify’s logo and the Hot Country playlist star brand mark and brand colors to create the clean, yet eye-catching artwork. Here’s a look at the proof that was designed for G7 prior to printing and installation. As you can see, these temporary banners were designed to make quite an impression!

Our graphic designer collaborated with G7 Marketing to come up with this design for the Spotify building banners. The smaller banners contained portions of the Hot Country playlist star brand mark.

In addition to the banners, we also designed, printed and installed eye-catching, vinyl window graphics to fit the smaller square-shaped window panels along the front and side of the building. The design for these window graphics contained the Spotify and Hot Country playlist logos and brand colors.

These vinyl window graphics made a nice impression as country music fans walked next to and in front of the Ole Red restaurant and live music venue.
