Last year, we provided a custom brushed aluminum wrap for Nissan North America that was revealed at the 2015 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas. This year, we helped another business, Lesjöfors Springs America, with their tradeshow exhibit at the 2016 SEMA Show. No matter what we fabricate, we enjoy having our work on display at the biggest automotive specialty products trade event in the world.

For this project, we worked with Lesjöfors, an industry leader in the design and manufacture of custom engineered flat mechanical springs and spring assemblies, to create the informative signage in their tradeshow display. We fabricated a company logo sign and six additional custom signs to be displayed throughout their booth.

The Lesjöfors logo sign was created out of 1/2" thick acrylic letters that were laser cut on our in-house laser and custom painted a gorgeous red (PMS 186 target) by our talented, one-of-a-kind Felix. The letters were bonded to a non-glare, 1/4" thick clear acrylic panel. The dimensional letters measured 6' wide, and the acrylic panel measured 78" X 22" - no small sign! Five standoffs were included with the sign to mount it onto the display wall.

The use of a clear acrylic panel makes the red letters look like they are floating on the textured display wall.

As you can see in the photo above, we also fabricated a custom sign for the company tagline: THE COMPLETE SPRING SUPPLIER. We used our in-house flatbed printer to print the gray text on the back surface of a 1/4" thick piece of non-glare, clear acrylic. For hanging purposes, the panel was fabricated with three holes along the top edge to allow standoffs to secure the panel to the textured wall of the tradeshow booth.

Similar to the sign for the tagline, we fabricated the Lesjöfors custom URL sign using a 72" X 8" X 1/4" piece of non-glare, clear acrylic; however, this time we backprinted the text with the Lesjöfors red (PMS 186 target). Three standoffs secured the sign to the top of a smaller display wall in their booth. (You can see the URL sign in the photo below.)

The remaining four signs were fabricated as product image panels to be on display during the SEMA Show. The signs were made using 42" X 24" X 1/4" pieces of non-glare, clear acrylic. We backprinted the client-supplied graphics onto the acrylic pieces, using our Vanguard flatbed printer. Four holes were cut into the corners of the acrylic panels to allow the signs to be mounted with standoffs. 

 You can see two of the four product image panels in the photo above. They are located on the short wall that also includes the custom URL sign. The booth has a very clean look with the white textured walls and the pop of red throughout.

Once complete, we securely packaged all of the signs and shipped them directly to Las Vegas to be set-up at the Lesjöfors tradeshow booth. We often ship the signage we create to our customers around the country. Usually, the shipments go directly to their offices, but every so often we are able to ship a project to them in time for a special event.
