We enjoy working with our legacy customers, especially when we get the opportunity to design new looks for their fleet vehicles. Our latest wrap redesign came to us recently from Action Air Conditioning Service, Inc. in Clarksville, TN. Here’s a look at how we designed, printed and installed their newest eye-catching van wrap!

We love the vibrancy and dimension in Action Air's newest van wrap!

We’ve had the pleasure of working with Action Air since 2012 and have wrapped their entire fleet of commercial vans during that time. As some of the older wraps are ready to be replaced and newer vans are being added to the fleet, the timing was perfect to refresh the older design.

The photo below shows an example of the fleet van wraps we designed, printed and installed for Action Air several years ago. Although the older design still looks pretty good, the management team at Action Air was ready for more dimension and movement in the wrap. They also wanted to enhance the colors to make the van wrap “pop.” Our graphic designer was ready for the challenge!

These fleet wraps served Action Air well for years, but now it's time for a new look!

He worked with Chris Hatcher, Action Air’s assistant service manager, to develop the new graphics for the Chevy Express van. He presented the design layout to Chris in proof form (see the image below.)

As you can see, the new design looks similar to, yet different than the original wrap. Light grey and blue strokes were added to the white and blue sections of the wrap to simulate the look of wind or airflow. The red and blue colors were enhanced to look brighter and more vivid. Grey and darker blue stripes were added as on outline of the red on the front section of the van. He added cool shadowing around the logo and in the larger blue sections of the wrap, as well as in the contact information and tagline. The phone number and tagline fonts were also updated. Pretty cool look, right?

This proof provided Action Air are a great way to visualize the final product. We provide proofs similar to this to all of our custom wrap customers. 

After receiving approval from Chris on the new design, we printed the graphics on high quality vinyl and added a protective laminate. We then placed the long sections of vinyl on the van using magnetic holders. The image below shows our installer and designer carefully aligning the vinyl prior to installation. Just getting the small strokes to meet in the right place was a challenge, but our experienced installers find little challenges like that a “breeze” to do (pun intended!) ;-)

Our installers and designers are the best in the business. They work hard to make sure every detail is just right!

After the installation was complete, we presented the van to Chris for his approval. We’re happy to report that he was “blown away” by the final result! Check it out!
