If you’ve driven through Nashville lately, you’ve noticed a lot of changes! Cranes are visible everywhere as new construction is happening throughout the city. One of the most anticipated construction projects is Nashville Yards. Construction is just getting started, and 12-Point SignWorks mesh banners are giving passersby a sneak peek at the coming attractions!
12-Point was contacted by the real estate firm which owns Nashville Yards, Southwest Value Partners, to do a rush print job prior to the demolition of the old LifeWay Christian Resources buildings (currently on site.) Southwest needed one 15’ wide x 4’ high and twenty 18’ wide x 4’ high mesh banners edited, printed, and installed at the construction site in less than 48 hours.
12-Point’s designer received artwork from Southwest which required some minor adjustments, such as correcting backwards text. He then prepared the files for digital printing.
The final artwork was printed on Key Banner 9 oz mesh, which is used for banner wraps, fence mesh graphics, and hanging banners in high winds. 12-Point printed the banners on our HP Latex 570 wide format 64 inch printer. This created “museum-quality” banners that are more vibrant and pleasing to the eye than most banners you would commonly see at construction sites. The banners were then installed along the chain link fencing at the construction site along Broadway and 10th Avenue.
Nashville Yards, a multi-building development on 15 acres at the edge of downtown Nashville, has been called the new “Gateway to Music City.” Formerly the campus for Lifeway Christian Resources, the new Nashville Yards district extends from Broadway on the south to north of Church Street. It will be built in phases and will contain Class A office space, retail, hospitality, entertainment, and residential buildings.
AEG, a leading sports and live entertainment company, has also entered into an agreement to develop a 4 acre mixed-use entertainment district in Nashville Yards. Plans include a 4,000-capacity music venue, a Regal Cinemas “luxury theater complex,” a 600- to 700- capacity live entertainment club, an approximately 24-room boutique hotel, and various food and beverage offerings.

Mesh banners are a great solution for outdoor use. They are printed on a polyester material with crisscrossed fibers that allow air to blow through. They are commonly displayed on construction fences and used for outdoor events such as concerts or festivals.
In addition to mesh banners, 12-Point also offers environmental branding, the use of unique design and signage to brand corporate interiors.
