Texans are proud of their reputation for great hospitality. As the new Live! by Loews in Arlington, TX opens its doors, we’re proud to say we had just a little bit to do with inspiring local Texans who work at the new hotel. Check out the wall vinyl we printed and installed in the hotel’s “Heart of House!”

This history wall is both attractive and educational! 

We’ve been fortunate to work with Loews Hotels since 2016 to install a variety of custom graphics for the company’s “Heart of House” (also known as the back of house) in locations across the United States and Canada. The purpose of this environmental branding project was to create a welcoming and comfortable space for employees in all Loews hotels and resorts, as well as at the company’s business service center in Nashville, TN.

For the most recent phase, we printed and installed custom wall vinyl on drywall and cinder block walls at the new state of the art, luxury Live! by Loews hotel located inside the Texas Live! Sports and Entertainment Complex. Here are just a few of the many wall graphics we installed at this location.

Timeline

The 372” x 108” timeline (pictured above) contains dates and graphics that start when the company came into existence and end with the new hotel’s opening. The photo below shows one of the dates up close. Notice how the vinyl beautifully conforms to the brick.

Our installers used a heat gun with a roller attachment to apply vinyl to this textured surface.

Directional Signage

We installed dark blue directional arrows like the one pictured below to direct employees to various departments. Each arrow spans from floor to ceiling and also includes inspirational quotes and phrases like the one in the photo, “Can’t mess with Texas hospitality” and “If you laugh together, you can work together.”

Just adding a fun quote like this can create a positive vibe among your team members!

Our Principles and Our Promise Vinyl Panels

A pair of vinyl panels were installed in the cafeteria. These include lists of the company’s principles and promise. The first sentence under We Are Family states: “We are a family who supports each other in the good times and the bad. We honor our heritage, celebrate our successes and have fun.”  Sounds like Loews is a great place to work!

We like this idea! What a great way to make sure everyone fully understands Loews' company culture!

Welcome Graphics

Two 312” long strips of vinyl were installed on a pony wall near the employee entrance (pictured below.) This vinyl contains the word “welcome” in the top 5 languages spoken by the hotel’s employees.

Even a small strip of wall vinyl like this can make a huge impact!

Hall of Fame

The Hall of Fame vinyl panel was installed in the hallway near the human resources office. Six 8.5” x 11” lucite frames were installed on the vinyl to hold papers which will identify team members of the month and quarter in the front of house and heart of house.

We love this! It's always a great idea to recognize employees who go above and beyond everyday!

In addition to the graphics shown above, we also installed vinyl room IDs above doors, restroom signage and additional phrases throughout the Heart of House. As you can see, these vinyl graphics definitely help liven up the space for the people who work at the new hotel.
