If you have school-aged children who attend Williamson County Schools, there’s a pretty good chance you’ve heard of InFocus. This fun, informative e-newsletter delivers articles, videos and important news about the school district to the community. We were recently hired to design, print and install a refreshed vehicle wrap on the InFocus van. Check out the sweet smiling faces that make this wrap so special!

The InFocus van wrap includes photos of WCS students participating in a variety of school activities. 

Our relationship with the InFocus van started back in 2013 when the WCS Communications Department hired us to create the original InFocus van wrap. Here’s a look at the original wrap.

The original wrap was very similar to the new design.

As you can see, the vinyl had held up pretty well for the past six years, but it was time for the old wrap to be removed and replaced with new vinyl. (Plus, many of the students on the original wrap have graduated! ;-) )

The Communications Department decided to keep the look and feel of the wrap very similar, since the van is so recognizable throughout the community. We created a new, slightly modified design and submitted a proof for review. The new layout includes a student (or group of students) on each side that stands out from the background photos. We love the big smiles!

This design proof provided a visual representation of the custom wrap prior to printing and installation. 

Once we received the thumbs up to move forward, our production team printed the artwork on high performance vinyl and applied a laminate to add UV protection. Our talented installers applied the vinyl wrap to the painted surfaces of the van.

You can see how proper alignment is important when installing each vinyl panel to a vehicle.
