One of the departments within the beautiful City of Franklin, Tennessee that we may not think of very often is the Sanitation Department. They may go about their important work on a daily basis sort of "unseen," but if they did NOT function, everyone would surely know it! They recently contacted us to update their building and window signage to reflect their official name update to the City of Franklin Sanitation and Environmental Services Department, and we were happy to help them make this change.

We began with the brick monument sign out in front of their offices, where we removed the old letters and filled in any of the remaining holes. We fabricated new, grey aluminum letters varying from 3" to 5" tall to designate their street address. After power-washing the sign, we attached the new letters with stud mounts for a professional, dimensional appearance. 

You can see the wet appearance of the sign as a result of our power washing!

For the front of the building, we also removed the old lettering, filled in the holes, and power-washed the area to prepare it for the new letters. We then attached our newly fabricated, 6" aluminum letters with stud mounts, designating the new name of the department at the entrance of the building. 

Again, the darker appearance of the building is from our cleaning process!

Behind the building is the check-in station where sanitation trucks stop on their way in and out of the complex. We replaced vinyl graphics on the window to update the new name of the department and reflect their being a part of Historic Franklin, Tennessee.

We didn't have to power wash this one!

It is always a pleasure to work with the departments within the City of Franklin and also with the organizations that preserve and protect the landmarks we have.
